Opportunities In Strange Places

Just yesterday I was able to take off from the office a little early to ride the old Harley for a few miles. With how crazy my schedule has been, I don't get to do that very often. It was a great distraction from the every day grind - something we ALL need.

Well, even though the ride was great, there was a downfall; I happened to pick the worst time of the day to do it. You see, if you live in the Midwest, you probably already know that if you go riding a motorcycle right before sundown, you will get sandblasted by a gazillion bugs. Not too fun, for the first few moments of the ride.

Anyway, as I was tearing down some farm road (being pelted with bugs) I happened to notice a "We Buy Houses" sign.

It was actually pretty good...a professional looking sign, nice message...a call to action...everything looked all right.

And this got me thinking about a conversation I had with someone a while back. This dude was convinced that the area we live in is just too saturated for investors and nothing was available anymore.

This guy was chewing nails and spitting tacks, INSISTING that I agree to his point of view...and then asked what I thought about all those "I buy houses" billboards we all see on the sides of the roads.

I don't usually volunteer my opinion unless I'm directly asked (I can practically hear my office staff laughing at that one) so since he asked, I went on to tell him that about ninety percent of people placing those signs are wholesalers. What that means is that is they don't want to purchase the house; what they want to do is flip it for a small fee to another investor.

And actually, the more of those that are around, the better, if you're looking for bargain houses that can bring you a King's ransom.

At any rate, you should have seen the look on his face after I finished...you'd have thought I told him the moon really was made of green cheese. He was stunned beyond words (a first, for this dude!)

But the truth is that some of the very best deals on houses you will ever find come from these guys; and the best part is that the majority of investors just don't do this.

But frankly, it's a slam dunk. Easy as pie. And right there for the taking, no matter where you are.

Give it a try and call up one of those numbers this weekend and when they pick up, tell them you don't have a house to sell right now but you are looking for one in the neighborhood and do they have anything there?

And I'm not going to tell you what's going to happen...because I want you to do it and see for yourself.

Why?

You'll see. Just give it a try and we'll talk on Monday about what happened.

P.S. By the way...for those of you who missed out on our New Houses opportunity this week, I have good news! Looks like my secretary miscounted and we have 8 more spots left, as of right now!

Being that this is already Saturday, I fully expect this to be gone sometime tonight. So if you don't want to miss out on this again, jump on the wagon and ride over to http://www.realestatefortunes.com/courses/NPL.htm  ASAP!

I really don't know when we can offer this again...it's really getting huge, so you gotta move fast!
