story with you regarding investing; of course, this directly
relates to a real estate investment in particular.
About 7 months ago,
I had an eye-opening chat with one of the shrewdest investors
that I know. This is the type of guy who could literally…
Turn Dirt Into GOLD!
You know – one of
those guys that could spend Saturday night plugging away at his
calculator in complete silence and having the time of his life!
I think he actually
reads all those crazy numbers in the Wall Street
Journal every day! The scariest darn part is that he really
loves it! And you want to talk about shrewd –
I think he still has the very
first dollar he ever made!
Needless to say,
when I’m looking for investment advice, he’s the “go-to guy” if
you know what I mean. So with just a little hesitation, as I do
about every 30 days I went to his Chicago office to pick his
brain for a while. And why
not... this guy is like a walking investment encyclopedia!
The whole reason
for the meeting was because I looking for some kind of new
information to share with you in one of my upcoming newsletters
– nothing to do with real estate (at the time) but just some
kind of other little-known idea that could end your money
problems for good.
Everyone (including
me) loves to get some inside tips that could make life
much easier. And why not?
Isn’t life hard enough,
with stress, no time to do anything you want and everything
getting so darn expensive lately?
Before I go on,
just to set the story straight … I’m not talking about a Martha
Stewart- inside tip... just something I could share
legally to my favorite clients. Now that I cleared that up,
let’s get to the story.
So I basically
said, “Mr. R., I want to share some exciting investment information besides
real estate with my clients; can you tell me what’s hot and
what’s not?”
The room filled
with silence…I could literally see his blood start to boil
and the veins in his head and neck started to stick out…I
thought he was going to burst! Then he broke the silence and
said to me in his trademark calm voice…
"Are You
Totally Out Of Your Mind??"
I just sat there
looking at him, like a deer caught in headlights!
I was
sure I was looking directly into the eyes of a madman!
I thought a
calculator or pocket protector would be flying my way any minute!
I’ve seen Silence of the Lambs and know what those types
of geniuses are capable of! And I didn’t want any part of that,
if you know what I mean.
So I let myself
speak finally and basically asked if there “was some kind of
problem.”
He said (a bit too
loudly) yes! Take a look at this...
He went on to show
me on paper some of the scariest statistics I have ever seen…

Corporate MBA’s
(you know, the Enron guys!)
taking out life insurance
policies
on your and your loved ones,
betting you literally die from stress
(from the
over-work load they’ll give you) so they won’t have to dip
into a
company pool to pay your loved
ones when you die! Don’t laugh... this is
true and happens everyday!

Cost of
living is shooting through the roof, but the average factory
worker’s and tradesman's
wages barely budge! The
days of “working hard and playing hard” are virtually over;
it’s more like “working hard just to eat!"
It’s really a shame; you work your tail off everyday (I know
from experience) to pay some corporate manager
his huge Christmas bonus, while you get nothing!
He continued on,
and essentially said to me that I’d have to be crazy to
recommend anything BUT real estate investing for the next few
years, because it doesn’t take a PhD to make money at it and
that the only investment right now that you can control is a
real estate investment.
The more I
continued to think it over, the more I knew he was right. I
though for a second and realized that…
Every Single Person I Know Who Is
Worth Millions And Actually Has Time To Enjoy It Invests
In Real Estate!
They have no fear of the stock
market getting killed…some actually look forward to that!
They
don’t care about the unemployment numbers hitting all-time
highs.
And these aren’t super-bright
over-achievers that work 20 hours a day, either. Did you know a
scientific study recently revealed that over 50% of self-made
millionaires never even graduated from college??
So what makes these people so
special?
Because they personally own or
control the world’s most sacred and precious commodity – Real
Estate!
One more thing – no matter how
advanced our society gets, whether it’s medical breakthroughs or
sending a man to Mars – nobody except God can create more real
estate!
Think about it…as long as there
are people on this planet, they are going to need a place to
live. It’s simple, but so few people truly understand the
potential that lies ahead for you and me just from even one
simple real estate investment!
